About the 42"
The 42" gets a wider mouth and the same 3/16" plate as the rest of the lineup, which means longer splits, taller flames and enough radiant heat to keep a full ring of chairs warm well into October.
This is the size that makes sense on an open lawn, a large paver patio or a rental property where the fire is the main attraction. Forged side handles come standard, though at this weight it is a two-person move.
This is a substantial steel fire pit, not a seasonal accessory. Between the 3/16" plate, the welded seam and the weight, it is designed to sit outside and be used hard for years.
