Priced by the mile, not by guesswork
Every run starts at a $100 minimum covering the first 25 road miles from our Barboursville shop, then $1.90 per mile past that. Extra pits on the same run add 20% of the run fee, minimum $35.

Same formula, longer day. Smith Mountain Lake, Roanoke, Lynchburg, Fredericksburg and the Shenandoah Valley all price out on mileage — no vague 'call for a quote'. Buying more than one pit adds to the run, since the weight and strapping go up with it.

Mileage is a driving estimate from our shop, and we confirm the final number in writing before you pay a cent. Smith Mountain Lake, for example, runs about 130 road miles and prices out near $300 for a single pit.

We bring the pit to the end of your driveway or the curb and help you get it off the truck. You handle the last few feet.
Driveway delivery

Standard on most orders. We set the pit down on a flat spot in your driveway or garage apron, on its base ring, ready to roll or carry.
Placement & setup
+$75
We walk the pit to your patio, pad or fire ring location, level it on its base and haul off the crate and packaging. Worth it on the 42" and up.
Rather pick it up?
Pickup near Charlottesville is free and by appointment. Because every pit is built to order with hand-forged handles, plan on about 2–3 weeks from order to pickup or delivery. We load it for you. By appointment only — call or text to schedule pickup.
